Seeing how the Tai family will be heading down to the Bahamas for a week of hopefully fun in the sun, my brother and I figured we’d let all of you enjoy in the tropical glow of the Bahamas. Pictures galore to be posted when we get back. Enjoy the new layout!

A few weeks ago, I made a picture post trying to get people to guess where the picture came from. The winner who correctly guessed the picture was Hans. Since he won, he let his girlfriend Maggie Chung, decide the colors for our site for a week. She designed the header as well as coming up with the colors. I’ll have to try this again and give you guys another opportunity to decide the colors for our site.

In an effort to show my school pride, sorry Buffalo doesn’t count, I had my brother create a header based off the Illini Orange basketball jerseys. He went a step further and created a T which resembles the I used for Illinois. The colors look really nice on the site too. It’s too bad I’m not on campus this year to be able to goto all the home games and watch some Illinois basketball. #1 in the country, and undefeated! 27-0 currently at the time of this post. Gotta love it!

As you may or may not have noticed, I’ve now added a random image rotator. Unfortunately, I can’t link to the image itself since I really have no idea how to go about coding it in php, but atleast you can see a random image everytime you load it up. If you really want to take a look, head over to our photo albums and take a look at the hundreds of pictures we have there.

edit: After playing around and trying to code the whole day, I now have it set where the rotating picture will link to the corresponding image in the gallery. Enjoy!

I’m currently upgrading the blogging software that our site is using and trying to get everything back to how it was before I upgraded. For those interesting, I’m currently using WordPress 1.5 So please excuse the mess, but do check back often!

In honor of the upcoming Chinese New Year, we decided to make our site red. All we need now is the hammer and sickle somewhere. It’s also the year of the rooster, so that’s supposed to mean good fortune to those born in the year of the rooster right? So happy early Chinese New Year! Hong Bao’s are also greatly appreciated
