How I’m a bad driver
so an interesting thing happened to me recently, it involved me, my car (which recently hit 222,222 miles), and a window scraper. Its a long story, so i’m just gonna copy an IM with the story in it.
aboganza321: so im driving home
aboganza321: on the highway
aboganza321: vrooming along
aboganza321: then it starts to snow
aboganza321: im like aw man
aboganza321: but i keep driving
aboganza321: then the roads start getting bad
aboganza321: and so when i try to switch lanes once
aboganza321: my car loses grip and swerves out of control
aboganza321: i slide down the road and then off
aboganza321: and i slam into a snow bank and bury my car in 2 feet of snow
aboganza321: so im like.. uh ok
aboganza321: thank god im uninjured
aboganza321: so i think out what to do
aboganza321: so i get my window scraper
aboganza321: and get outside and start digging myself out
aboganza321: i get all this mud on me
aboganza321: and im desparately shoveling out the snow underneath the car
aboganza321: while the cars still running mind you
aboganza321: so it was quite dangerous and maybe even reckless
aboganza321: so eventually this car pulls over and asks me if i need help
aboganza321: they lend me a shovel and i try to dig out my car more
aboganza321: while they call for a tow
aboganza321: and im digging and trying to reverse my car
aboganza321: the car is just way too stuck in the snow
aboganza321: the couple in the car eventually leaves
aboganza321: and i continue switching between warming myself in the car
aboganza321: and digging out my tires
aboganza321: i even pulled out two table clothes from my trunk in hopes of trying to get better traction
aboganza321: no avail
aboganza321: its been like 30-40 minutes
aboganza321: my feet are frozen
aboganza321: and i keep shoveling
aboganza321: and then finally a tow truck comes
aboganza321: and they pull me out
aboganza321: but only after having to do a u turn on a 2 lane highway with traffic
aboganza321: and so they send me on my way
aboganza321: and then i realize, my suspension was damaged from the accident
aboganza321: and my car wobbles
aboganza321: the whole car shakes when i take it up to 40 mph
aboganza321: er 55
aboganza321: so i end up driving 30 miles to the next service station 10 miles below the speed limit
aboganza321: with a wobbling chassis
aboganza321: i get out, goto the bathroom
aboganza321: clean off some of the crud on my car
aboganza321: check the car
aboganza321: and go on with my trip
aboganza321: and for some reason the wobbling subsided
aboganza321: and i could get up to 65 – normal
aboganza321: so i drive normally
aboganza321: all the way back home
aboganza321: but too bad my windshield wipers don’t work
aboganza321: so its like 7pm
aboganza321: and its dark
aboganza321: real dark
aboganza321: and all my windows are dirty and steamy
aboganza321: so i can only see through a narrow spot on my windshield
aboganza321: and im just so desparate to get home
aboganza321: after almost hitting a divider and a car, i finally make it home
aboganza321: where i’m welcomed with warm cream of mushroom soup
aboganza321: the end
Better memory!
I saw this article online yesterday and thought it was pretty interesting. It kinda reminded me of this one infomercial that taught you how to speed read. The infomercial would have the guy basically running his hand across the page from top to bottom really fast, and he’d be able to remember everything that was on the page in a matter of seconds. Having the ability to do something like that would’ve definitely be nice when studying for tests. “I’ll be back in 2 minutes, I’m gonna go study for my final!” That would’ve been pretty sweet. So for those of you who want to try and improve your memory, try out what the article says and see if it helps any!
Think Positively!
I was browsing through the news today, and came across the following article. The article deals with research that shows what we think can affect our health. If a person was told that a drug would help them, and they believed it, they were more likely to get healthy than those who were given a drug and were told it wouldn’t work. Essentially, the placebo effect.
So, my advice for those who care to listen is to think positively! Instead of always being pessimistic about things, or worrying about things, take a brighter view. Not only will you most likely be happier instead of dreary, it’ll also have a positive affect on your health! Take after me, and adopt my motto of “No worries!”
Just remember, the glass is half full! Your health depends on it!

Thank you! You may now continue on with your day.
Whoa!
Whoa! I just came back from lunch with some friends at FudRuckers, and guess who we saw?

Duce Staley!
RB for the Pittsburgh Steelers!
We walked by him as he was ordering his burger, and man! his calves were as big as Greg’s thighs!
Craaaazy!
I took a pic of his range rover, but its on my cell phone.
Cereal!
All you kiddies out there, listen up! Eating cereal everyday can be one of the bests things for you.
Check out this study: Breakfast Helps Girls Stay Slim.
The [average body-mass] index was even lower for girls who said they ate cereal for breakfast, according to findings of the study conducted by the Maryland Medical Research Institute.
Could this be? actual health benefits to eating cereal regularly?
One might speculate a few things. But the Taibro’s, they’ll note that BMI goes down as height goes up. You make your own conclusions.
