So I had a chance to do a little photo touch up recently. Can you notice the difference? :cool: If you click on the picture, you can get a larger view.

So seeing how I took the liberty to edit my own picture, what do you think about such touch ups in general for photos? One could easily remove blemishes, change how people look, or even make people look better all through editing of the photo. Is this wrong to do? Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

  1. I take photos occasionally for some employees. I edit them once in a while, but never do editing like you show here. Sometimes I try taking a glare off some glasses. I have also once or twice removed things like acne from extremely obvious spots… I’d never edit birth marks or other types of marks related to identity. I don’t touch wrinkles either (because it’s part of the person permanently).

    It’s a good reminder that so many ads and maybe even news can easily be false.

    btw. you look rather freaky as an edited version of yourself… you look like a different person, but not really, but different…
