This past weekend was the youth group retreat, where we were blessed to have over 40 people attend! This has been the most kids we’ve ever had attend any retreat, church and yg I believe. We were also blessed to have a speaker, Mazie’s friend Jeff, come in from Chicago too. It was definitely great to be able to get away, and fellowship with the kids and just have an opportunity to grow closer to God. This year’s retreat theme was titled “Re-fresh”, with the topics including: Re-building friendships, Re-newing the church, The church’s “Re-deem Team”, and Re-investing in the Kingdom.

With the current seniors about to leave for college starting this week, it was a great opportuinty to be able to hang out with them one last time. While it’s always sad to see a group graduate, I know that God already has people in mind to be able to step up and lead. I’m looking forward to see what God has in store this coming year!
