Singapore - Update 4
November 3rd, 2007
So its been a few days since I last updated y’all on Singapore. Its been two weeks since I’ve come to Singapore, and work isn’t actually that bad. Heres a night time shot of my workplace:
I also spent some time at NUS for work. Here is a picture of the campus security, I find their helmets a tad strange:
Today, a few of us went to Chinatown for some dim sum and some sight seeing. The thing is: the novelty of going to Chinatown is that you go to a place and everyone suddenly is asian. This novelty is, like you might guess, lost here in singapore, where everyone already is asian. Why a chinatown still exists in an asian community? perhaps for the cheap knock-off merchandise.
While in Chinatown I got to play with my wide angle panoramic feature. Here are a few:
The streets of Chinatown
A Hindu Temple
and a Buddhist Temple
Outside the Buddhist Temple, a row of Trishaws
Good news, Nov 16th I’ll be going to Phuket, Thailand for the weekend!
