Singapore – Update 2

without comments

So last night was our first Friday in Singapore. And we all went to Lau Pa Sat to go get some signature Singaporean food.
We had Sambal Stingray, Chili Crab, and a host of other eclectic foods that I cannot name.

I especially enjoyed the Satay. It was a throwback to the Minnesota State Fair, where you could everything under the sun, on a stick, deep-fried.

Apparently, this is really popular at the Hawker Centers, I saw it in the first one I went to…

I saw this picture in the subway, it reminded me of the old wrinkly guy from the Six Flags commercials…

I’m starting to get used to the Asian food here, it definitely takes some time. For those of you who think being asian automatically means I like asian food, that reasoning would not apply to me. Just check the Pig’s Organ Soup Stall to see why.
