Greetings from Singapore!
October 20th, 2007
Hello, I’m currently posting to you from 12 hours into the future from sunny (and humid) Singapore!
I’ll be here for the next 8 weeks for Practice School: which is like an internship, but worse (much, much worse).
I’ll try to keep y’all up to date through the taibros website (rather than facebook), so keep tabs on this site.
Anyway, I’m going to start a Singapore photo album, where I can dump my photos and post as needed. Check them out.
We’re staying in Gillman Heights, which are off-campus from NUS. They have us in Staff/Faculty apartments rather than student dorms, so the place is pretty nice. Although it still has that asia flavor to it all.
Drop me a comment if you have any recommendations for places to visit, things to eat, ways to get caned. I’ll be pretty busy, but hopefully some excursions can be made (thailand!!?)

Mitchell! You have to eat kaya and toast (coconut jam on toast)! It is most excellent. Also, be sure to go to the food courts (i.e. “hawker stalls”) where you can get all things Singapore a la carte style.
