As you may have noticed, not a lot has gone on here the past week. Mainly because not too much new has happened. However, another reason why nothing has been posted by me in particular has been because my computer was killed by lightning last week. The power surged in our house, and somehow fried my computer.

Fortunately, I didn’t lose anything important as I had been saving everything onto an external hard drive. However, had I not been backing up my files, I would’ve most likely lost over 10,000 photos, years worth of documents, all my e-mails, and basically everything else on my computer. Luckily I didn’t have to go through any of that pain, though I did have to build a new computer.

So here’s a reminder to everyone, save early and often, and back up those files!
