Jesus Camp
November 15th, 2006
So instead of studying for the past few hours, I watched a rather interesting movie. Jesus Camp. by Rachel Grady and Heidi Ewing.

This is probably one of the most uncomfortable and creepiest movies to sit through in my experience. Disturbing not in its overall message (the movie is rather neutral in its stance on the subject), but in the fact that there is so much propaganda on both sides of the subject - the liberal left and the conservative right. From a secular point of view, the scenes depicted in the movie are utter hogwash, but from a Christian stand-point it makes sense. Probably what I hate the most is that this lends itself as fodder for both the secular and religious liberals to criticize whats wrong with christians today. I’m not sure whats worse, non-christians who hold christians in contempt or christians who hold other christians in contempt for their practices. In the end I tend to believe its all areligious liberal progressive propaganda.
Oh ya, the creepiest part is that Ted Haggard has a segment in it. ::shudder:: I usually don’t like to rant, so I won’t.
Oh well, back to lubrication approximations and plug flow. I have one more test before the weekend.
