The YG vs College Football Game
October 1st, 2006
Seeing how it’s been awhile since the we’ve played football, we decided to get everyone together for a nice game of tackle football after church today. We had 11 youth groupers against 10 people from the college group. That’s kids 7th to 12th grade against guys/girl who are 18-24 years of age.
Despite such a difference in age, and even with the added advantage of weight for the college group, the YG kids still came out ahead and won both games that we played! 
I believe the scores were 7-1 the first game, and then 11-6 the second. It was definitely a fun time, and the wet ground helped in getting everyone nice and dirty. Here are a few pictures from the game that Alex took. I’ve posted a bunch more in the photo album too, so go take a look!

Notice Dan hanging onto Jack’s foot to try and tackle him here:
Notice here how the ball is on the ground and not in Alvin’s hands…like many of his other “catches” today.

Good job YG! We’ll have to play again another day.

lol we definately pwn college. and you have your captioning wierd. you have “Here’s a pic of Martin and Spencer talking Dan:” it’s supposed to be taking dan, not talking =P

mad mad fun.
we had a crazy defensive line, and outstanding secondary. Woot Woot! offense was unstoppable, with monkeys! lol
we will pwn college again some other time too!

Yeah um, weight definitely should not be listed as an advantage!! What’s up with those monkeys, and Spencer being Diesel!??!?!!?!???!
