The Age of Hair
June 4th, 2006
So Aileen once told me that your hair physically changes its style every seven years. Not that you change it by going to a new hair stylist, but the hair itself changes so that you have to style it differently to accomodate it (it gets thicker, wavier, straighter, etc.) So one of my dilemma’s as of now is this:
What should Mitchell do with his hair?
At the current moment, I have not (as I have previously suggested to some) cut my hair into a mullet, nor have I shaved it yet. I’ve let it continue to grow out. So there are a couple of options that are readily apparent:
(a) BIC it!
(b) Cut it short
(c) Cut it Wavy
(d) Don’t cut it at all
Anyways, to help you in your task, I’ve presented some examples of my hair through the years. (It also doubles as a look into how I’ve aged, since it spans a little over 4 years of time.)
Notice how it switches between poofy and short every year, as well as glasses and no glasses. not shown: i also switched between yellow hat and no yellow hat every year.
So here goes:

Well … at MIT, you’ll probably get the most respect having the 1st or the last style =P

I’ll have to go for the short and curly (bottom left pic) minus the goatee. OR.. how about you dye it RED! That should gain you some respect. =P

the jr year left one looks alright. the bottom right doesn’t look alright. the bottom left one does. i like teh long-ish hair. i guess you could trim it down a little if you really wanted to. please don’t shave it, haha.
