Rochester Lilac Festival
May 13th, 2006
So Mazie and I decided to go to the Lilac Festival today. Even though the weather forecast was for rain, we were fortunate enough to be there when the sun was actually out for a few hours. The hail storm actually occurrred after we had left and were indoors again. The Lilac Festival was pretty fun, walked around and looked at some of the crafts they had for sale, had some of the food, and saw/smelled the lilacs. I posted some of the pics that were taken while we were there for those interested. About half of the pictures were taken by me, and the other half were taken by Mazie. I think she’s found her hobby of photography!

Nice pictures…ahhh miss that Lilac Festival.
The only thing I could add is to try experimenting with the aperture. In daylight (esp. sunlight) you have plenty of light to go up a few stops from f/5.6.
