Tai-ism’s

April 23rd, 2006

Have you ever noticed that if you’re around someone for a long time, you begin to pick up their mannerisms, their sayings, and even how they think? For those that have been dating a while, you’ll most likely know what I’m talking about, since after awhile you’ll find yourself doing many things that your significant other does and vice versa. This also applies to family members as well, as you’ll find yourself doing things that your parents do, simply because you’re around them all the time.

It’s pretty funny when you begin to realize yourself that you’re doing things that you never used to do, just because you’ve picked them up from someone else. So I figured I would post some so called “Tai-ism’s” that the Taibros tend to do. I just know how much all of you want to mimic the Taibro’s too

The Taibro Smile: For those that have seen many pictures with the Taibros in them, you may tend to notice, other than how tall we are, how we’ll sometimes have our mouths wide open for the picture. Our parents say that this ruins the picture, but we say that it adds some excitement and uniqueness to the pictures. Here’s an example:

Center of attention: Here’s another photography quirk that we Taibros have. We will always try to gravitate towards the center of the picture. If you take a look at most group pictures, you’ll almost always notice the Taibros standing right in the center. I’m not sure why this is, but it holds pretty true in most of the group pictures that we find outselves in. Maybe it’s because they always put the tall people in the middle.

Sayings: For me personally, I tend to say a few phrases repeatedly when talking to people. Mazie can definitely account for this as I’m sure I tell her these all the time. They are: “No worries”, and “Have Faith”. I also tend to talk about smiling a lot as well. These are probably some of the phrases that I find myself using the most. I probably get them from my laid back personality. I know Mazie has even found herself using these phrases when talking to other people as well.

These are only a few of the so called Tai-ism’s that we have. If you know of any other ones, feel free to let us know in the comments. I’m sure everyone has their own unique mannerisms which they can also talk about as well. So till I post again, Smile!
