A Good Day Verses a Bad Day

March 5th, 2006

So lately I’ve been thinking of how people have bad days and how others have good days. While this isn’t a post on the fairness of how things happen, because no one ever said life would be fair, this is more a post on how we approach things.

If you think about it, a bad day is only determined by the circumstances around us. If something “bad” happens, then we are more likely to say that we had a bad day instead of having a good day. Sometimes, even if we have more good happen to us in one day, we may still tend to focus only on the bad that happened during that day.

When we have bad days, it’s mainly because we choose to focus on the bad that happens. I’m not saying that having a bad day is wrong, or that people who do have bad days force it upon themselves. Instead, we can improve our so called bad days if we look to all the good that happens to us. There is always something good that occurs during our days. It’s just whether we notice it or not. So the next time you’re having a bad day, look to see what has gone right during that day. So here’s to having a good day, not a bad one.

  2. if something really good happens thou, it puts a mask over anything ‘bad’ and you’re still really happy at the end of the day
