Visit to Princeton
February 27th, 2006
So last night I got back from my visit to Princeton University.
It was a very interesting visit. Being the first time visiting an ivy league school, I really noticed the “ivy league” feeling of the school - it felt like being in an episode of Gilmore Girls or something.
Ironically, they have a Lake Carnegie, which is supposedly a man-made lake made by our very own Andrew Carnegie in order to provide a place for the crew team to practice (it’s like a 3-mile long lake too).
Additionally, I learned one thing about grad students: they’re all raging alcoholics. Seriously. I can elaborate if you ask me about it.
Anyway, the highlight of my trip was visiting James who lives in Northern NJ. We went to NYC to a spanish restaurant for dinner, and met up with some of classic ACF crew: Neil, Lisa, Patrick, Geraldine. It was really great seeing everyone again, for some, after an entire year.
I’ve posted pictures of my visit in the photo gallery.
Enjoy!
