Workout Suggestions?
January 31st, 2006
Well, since about June of last year, I’ve worked out pretty much atleast 3-4 times a week. The first few months weren’t too bad since I was able to workout with my brother, so I atleast had a spotter while trying to benchpress. But, seeing how he’s currently at school I’ve been basically working out since August till now by myself, and it’s starting to get somewhat boring.
I’ll list out what I typically work on when I work out, and see if you guys have any suggestions as to what I can do.
- Used to do about 30 minutes cardio, but now I’m down to 10-15 minutes.
- Free weights for arms/shoulders/chest
- Circuit machines for arms/shoulders/chest/legs
- Bench Press without a spotter atleast 175 lbs. I’m afraid to go any higher without a spotter. With a spotter, I can do atleast 215 lbs.
- Lots and lots of ab work.
- Pull ups/dips
- Back exercises, since I received physical therapy for my back.
- Stretching
Anyone have any suggestions as to what else I can do? ![]()

alas, no longer. i used to. but then i sprained my wrist and the joint grew back in an awkward position. i prolly can only do ~150 now before my wrist would snap again.

I’d add some jump roping, it works everything pretty good. Squats abd toe raisers with free weights are good too. I find the machines to be ineffective when working out the legs because I can max out most leg press machines.
