So a few days ago, I think my brother came across a diary/journal that I used to write in…when I was 7! Yep that’s right, the dated entries were for 1989! It’s actually pretty funny reading through what I wrote and seeing how bad my writing skills were. Actually, they’re probably still bad today…good thing I’m an engineer and not an English major. My hand writing was actually really nice and neat though! It’s always cool to find items like this that can let you look back and see what things were like many years ago. It’s like a 16 year old time capsule that has my thoughts and my writing. So for kicks, I figure I’d share a few of my entries, unedited, with you guys. Enjoy!

8/11/89 - Today I went to church at 7:30 mom went too. Tomorrow no piano Yipee Yipee Yipee Yipee Yipee great.

9/2/89 - Today I went to toy’s r us to buy toys I bought a transformer so did my brother. my brother is 5 years old.

11/19/89 - Today I did not go to church because of a recetil for Pino yesterday night I got a pinball game my brother got a transformer. Today I played my pinball game I like the pinball game it is fun good and awsume. I wish I could go to church today.

Some other notables from my writings:
- I got $10 for reading 100 books.
- I also got 15 cents for cleaning my room.
- I wished I were 8 years old.
- I liked gym class, but didn’t like music class.
