I recently received my Masters degree in the mail two weeks ago, and the first thing I noticed when opening it was that my degree wasn’t bent like my Bachelor’s degree was. The second thing I noticed was that it doesn’t say what you got your Masters degree in. Unlike my Bachelor’s which said “Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engieering”, my Master’s degree only says “Master of Science”. No school, no major, nothing of the sorts. I thought this was strange until I noticed that both my parents Masters degrees didn’t have majors written on them either.

Seeing how my degree doesn’t specify what major I got it in, I’ll be able to in the future tell people that I got my Masters from (insert major), and insert whatever major fits my needs at that moment. Since my degree doesn’t say, they won’t know the difference!

This was a pretty pointless post, but I figured I’d make one anyways. Good thing I have summer hours and don’t work on Fridays!
