Long winded

May 3rd, 2005

By the time this semester is over, I’ll have written 8 term papers and 3 lab reports: constituting 174 pages of text, graphs, and figures. The term papers alone constitute 90 of those pages, being completely text. The term papers contain a whopping 25,000 words. Man has this semester been brutal.

But I’m reminded of younger times, where I could type even longer. Many of you might remember me writing 17,000 words, and then 36,000 words for my two missions trips journals. Thinking back to those two missions trips brings back really fond memories, and I’m tempted to reread them to gain that nostalgic feeling.

Oh well, back to work. But for those of you with freer schedules. Take a look at my two journals:
Missions trip to Philadelphia
Missions trip to Toronto.
They’re fun to read. Enjoy!

  1. i skimmed over the old toronto journal. It’s so crazy because all these places are within minutes of where i live - rosedale, “boy’s town”, parliament is across the street, church of the redeemer, scott mission, “golden mile”… majority of the places, really. I remember seeing UofT for the first time and being told to pray for the incoming class. Who knew the next year they said that during the prayer tour it would be me?
