Every year around this time and again in about August, I get the worst allergies. I get itchy eyes, a runny nose, non stop sneezing, some more runny nose, even itchy throat sometimes, and of course a runny nose. It gets so bad in fact, that I can go through a whole box of kleenex in a matter of a week. I like to coin my non stop runny nose as my “River of snot” seeing how I’m constatnly blowing my nose. Thank goodness for lotioned kleenex though, otherwise I’d have a nose as bright as Rudolph’s.

Unfortunately for me, I’m not exactly sure what I’m allergic to. I think it’s pollen, but I’m really not sure. It may be grass as I tend to get slight rashes if grass touches my skin, but that may just be a skin reaction. I’ve also never been tested to determine what I’m allergic to either.

I’ve been given medication to combat my allergies, and for the most part they work, but it’s still a pain to be taking all these pills/nasal sprays. There really is no point in me making this post other than to lament at my allergies. So to all of this I say: Death to allergies!
