What makes you happy?
April 14th, 2005
So I was thinking, what makes a person happy? Is it a situation, a memory, an event? There’s a difference between being happy and being joyful, as happiness is a temporary event/feeling, but what makes you happy?
You often hear people talk about an event or a time that they were happy and enjoyed. Being able to think back on those times allows the person to be happy again while reminiscing about the past. Also, people are happy when something good happens to them such as a compliment or a promotion/award. However, both these circumstances require either outside forces to occur, or thinking back on something that already occurred.
So, what about current happiness? What are some things that you do that let you be happy at this current moment? ![]()

lol. hello Lawrence, you left a comment on my blog entry abt your FOB entry which I thought was really gracious (considering the way I ranted). So I would like to apologise to your brother and you. besides, most of what he wrote was pretty true, only it always sounds arrogant when someone outside of the community says it. haa. anyways, pretty neat blog you got goin. =) my fobby emoticon.
