So for this past week, I’ve been suffering from a mild case of the flu. And though I rarely get sick, It always happens at the least opportune times (job interviews, class presentations , etc.) Well talking with various people, I’ve learned that people sometimes have their own unique precursors to sickness. For example, Jack Yu will dream of bugs. Anyways, my unique precursor is that I start smelling things - a sort of olfactory state of delusion if you will. There are a few different smells that I smell, but they are always the same. Most of them are unidentifiable, and they just smell like “sickness”. But one particular smell that I’ve been having recently is that of Lemonade. Ya, seriously. I smell lemonade whenever I’m sick.
“Thats not too bad” you say, but I dont like lemonade. The mutual aversion to both lemonade and sickness (perhaps circularly self-loathing) is something I have to live with for a few days as my health returns.

Do any of you have strange precursors to sickness?

Also, if you want to get on my nerves, make me some lemonade.
