So it was a long while ago, but I managed to get a lovely photo of my creation for ACF dessert night. looks like a rather plain cake doesn’t it. well we hadn’t put the candles on it yet, but it still was pretty plain.
It isn’t hard to imagine this cake being really plain, because the ingredients were very plain. But people who ate it were (pleasantly) surprised by this mini-dessert.
Because it is in fact meatloaf.
The icing is mashed potatoes.

Surprisingly good.
once you got over the fact that it wasn’t an ice cream cake, and that it wasn’t sweet, and that it was actually salty…

OMG! we did that for our dad on april fools day a bunch of years ago only they were cupcakes!
