Wide rule paper
January 17th, 2005
I figured I’d post something to keep all you readers entertained. I’m thinking of possibly writing another how to post, anyone have any ideas as to a good one that I could write? In other news, I find that it’s hard to find cheap COLLEGE ruled paper. I went to Target, and Office Depot yet couldn’t find any of those cheap 70 cent 1 subject notebooks. Seeing how I needed 6 notebooks for this coming semester, I ended up settling for wide ruled notebooks. Wide rule notebooks are simply the worst. The lines are just so far apart! I don’t know how anyone can ever use a notebook with such wide lines. College rule paper should be the standard. I wonder if it’s all a scheme to make the fat people of America feel better since they’ll get to see wider lines. Oh well, I can’t really complain since I didn’t feel like paying $2 for a notebook when i got 6 for $5. Such is life.

The difference between wide rule and college rule is very simple. In grades K-8th students are developing fine motor skills;the paper is designed to assist with their developing skills. By the time a child reaches high school their fine motor skills should be developed so fine lines such as college rule paper has been developed to accommodate their writing skills.
