Rochester O Rochester

January 12th, 2005

For those that haven’t yet voted or seen the poll, “Should the Taibros stay in Rochester” most apparently seem to think that we shouldn’t. I’m not sure what people don’t like about Rochester. I personally think it’s a great place to live. Then again, everyone has their own opinion. Rochester is definitely home, and will be for the foreseeable future.

When I first was planning on going to grad school over at Buffalo, I thought it was a 2 year program. After I went to orientation and such, I found out that it was only a 1.5 year program. Now, I’m making it a 1 year program. I’m planning on trying to graduate by this May, so I can start work in Rochester.

I was offered a full-time job here in Rochester and accepted, so Rochester will definitely be home. Mitchell will also be in Rochester this summer too. Seeing how both Taibros are going to be living in Rochester, everyone else should also move to Rochester. I mean, come on, who wouldn’t want to be with the Taibros ;)

  1. I love Rochester too :) I’m always sad to leave–but, I think it’s time for me to start seeing the world too.

I’ll be in A^2 until the end of June, be back for a week possibly and then go somewhere else. It’ll be weird not living at home for an extended period of time anymore…

  3. heh yea, during my years at Illinois, I was almost never home. The world’s only fun to see if you have people to see it with, but home is always good because it’s where your family’s at.

  6. Now that i live in nowhere (ironically 45 miles away from NYC) where it takes at least 20 minutes to buy orange juice and 40 minutes to go to the mall (albiet extremely huge gradiose malls) Rochester is great! You have everything that you need within reach, traffic isn’t too bad and it’s pretty darn cute in the summer. Yay for Rahchester!

  11. Rochester is one of the greatest places to live in America. Yeah, we get a lot of snow, but you know what, this is a really friendly and very family oriented place. And we are way better than Buffalo and Syracuse!
