Shocking

November 29th, 2004

I am an attractive person. For whatever reason, I find myself constantly shocking myself whenever I touch such things as door knobs, car door handles, basically anything metal. This isn’t just a winter thing where the air dries up some so there’s more positively charged ions in the air, this happens to me year round. Also, for whatever reason, my clothes tend to collect a lot of lint if they’re cotton/wool. I have a North Face Jacket that constantly collects lint even though most everyone else with the jacket doesn’t have the same problem. I’ve used lint rollers to no avail as the lint just keeps coming back. My body must somehow be charged to attract all the lint in the air.

What’s funny is that if I take a piece of lint off, or even plastic wrapping and throw it into the air, then try to stick my finger near it again, It’ll become attracted to my finger. I better watch out and hope that I don’t attract lightning to myself. I could very well be a walking lightning rod that’s 6′2″! I wonder if there’s a way to ground myself so that I stop getting shocked/collecting lint. Maybe I should drink more liquids.

Also, for those of you who thought I was talking about something else when I started this post, thanks ;)
