Kerry @ Carnegie
October 21st, 2004
Yesterday, Presidential Candidate John Kerry came to speak at a rally on the CFA Lawn of our campus. I went to check it out; so did about 4,000 other people. It was cold, I was in shorts, I’m from Rochester, yadda, yadda, yadda. And Kerry spoke for 30 minutes after 5 hours of wait. It was quite an experience. Actor Ted Danson, Steelers RB Franco Harris, and Jon Bon Jovi made appearances. I took lots of pictures. But I was so far back that they all went blurry. I’ll post the good ones online.
The next day, Condaleeza Rice came to speak inside CFA (about 100 ft where Kerry was positioned) on international issues and policy. I missed that tho. Next week, Michael Moore shall come in all his mustard stain, hot dog, glory (vis a vis TEAM AMERICA).
CMU seems so important now adays. What happened!?

I guess it’s good to be a swing state for PA, right?
