Have you ever noticed the people who end up in pictures and you had no idea that they were even there? Take a look at some pictures that you’ve taken where you’re trying to take it of some friends, or of some nice scenery but off to the side, there’s someone else in the picture? Or how bout those people that decide to jump into the picture even though they’re not supposed to be in it?

I say that these people are what make the picture interesting! Yea, but you say that “they ruined the picture!” I say that they make the picture unique. For the most part the random people in the background aren’t even aware that you’re taking a picture. You catch them totally off guard and take a snapshot of them just being themselves. Next time try to imagine what was going on through their heads as they walked into your picture. That’s different, that’s unique, and that is what makes the picture interesting.

Next time, go ahead and walk into someone else’s picture, or try to get a picture of that random person who’s unaware that you’re even taking a picture. Capture life as it is, without poses, without people pretending to smile, and without people overdoing it for the camera. You’ll produce pictures a million times better.
