I’ve recently resolved to carry around a camera in my car at all times. This is because sometimes when I’m driving, I’ll see this amazing site, and will have totally no way of recording it. Like last week, I was graced with the opportunity of witnessing a double rainbow. The inner rainbow was as bright as a maglite in the dark, and the full spectrum was vibrant and clear. The outer one was fainter, but you could still see all the colors. It was like someone painted it into the sky. I could even see both of them from end to end (the inner one ended somewhere in homestead).
And then today, it was really foggy outside. It was just the right fogginess that the sun was pretty much blocked, but you could still see it. So the sun looked like a giant moon in the sky.

Both of those are maybe once in a lifetime experiences, and me with no camera around.
